Jane Fonda’s Workout Brand – Minibands Details and Review

In the 1980s, Jane Fonda popularized aerobics and brought exercise video to the masses when her award-winning workout video “Jane Fonda’s Workout” was released in 1982. The workout started a movement not just of aerobics but working out at home . Nearly thirty years later, in conjunction with GoFit , Jane Fonda is making a comeback with the release of her WORKOUT brand.

Launched in December of 2010, the brand includes a series of original workout DVDs. With workouts from renowned fitness trainers, hand-picked by Jane Fonda , the series includes yoga, sculpting, cardio and boot camp workouts. Stay tuned for detailed reviews of the workouts.

The Jane Fonda WORKOUT brand also includes a coinciding line of innovative fitness equipment. The minibands , one of the many fitness accessories included in the brand, are a great tool to target and strengthen the hips, legs and glutes. The set of minibands includes three resistance loops: light resistance (red), medium resistance (blue) and heavy resistance (green). The minibands can be used individually or combined to create seven different resistance levels. The minibands also come with a detailed instructional flip booklet. Here you will find clear instructions and colorful images depicting many exercises that can be done using the minibands. I am a huge fan of the minibands! Gone are the days of tying a full length resistance band around my ankles and tripping over the ends trying to perform lower body exercises. The minibands are simple to use, provide additional intensity and effectively target the hips, legs and glutes.

The Jane Fonda’s WORKOUT line of fitness equipment also includes a Pilates Mat, Foam Roller, Superbands and Ultrasliders.

Disclaimer: I was provided with a set of minibands of to review. I received no other compensation and I was under no obligation to review it if I so chose. Nor was I under obligation to provide a positive review in return for the free workout. Retail value is $19.99.
