The Belles are super excited about this giveaway because we LOVE the hilariously smart selection of awesome Headline Shirts! Lindsey had the pleasure of reviewing the Headline Shirts Relentlessly Awesome shirt. Seriously- how could I resist this shirt? LOL, its very “me.” DH had a great laugh when I opened the package and said “that is perfect for you.” I agree- I love it! Its (obviously) hilarious and I love the colors- slightly retro, a bit reminiscent of the 70′s and 80′s- dont you think? I love the fabric and cut. Its a perfect fit!

It’s Not Me It’s You:

Maria had the pleasure of reviewing the Headline Shirts It’s Not Me It’s You shirt. Ok its slightly smart alec but admit it- its HILARIOUS! I’m slightly smart aleccy so its perfect for me. I get lots of laughs every time I wear this shirt. Not only for single people- this shirt really applies to so many of life’s “situations” dont you think? Sometimes I wish I could wear it to the office (j/k maybe). I love the scooping neck line for warm summer days and to add a touch of femininity to a casual look.

I am SO excited about this Fitness For the Rest of Us giveaway for many reasons. Number one is Zevia All Natural Soda is an all natural soda that is sweetened with stevia- not chemicals like other diet sodas. It is calorie free, available in a TON of awesome flavors, leaves no bad after taste, and both DH & I loved all the flavors we had the pleasure of revewiing. I am super excited to have had a chance to review a costume from Costume Supercenter.com !! I must say, it was VERY hard to decide which costume to review, as their selection for Plus Size Costumes is amazing! I also browsed around other categories and found some unique and hilarious costumes that are sure to make you the life of the party as well as have your friends talking for months. I ended up being lucky enough to order the 80s Punk Lady Plus Sized Costume. (seen below) Most of their plus size selection fits up to a size 22. Which is nice for those of us thicker gals who have purchased so called plus sized items from companies that think “plus size” is a 9.

I have to be honest. I am always a bit sceptical when it comes to buying any type of clothing, even costumes, online as there are bound to be fitting issues. But with Costume Super Center’s easy to read size charts and their free size exchanges I was put as ease right away. The site is extremely user friendly. As you browse the costumes you will notice quick links to any accessories that would go with the costume you are looking at are conveniently on the same page. This makes putting together an entire look, fast, simple, and fun!

I usually have fears when ordering online that the product I am ordering may not arrive in time for whatever event I am purchasing it for. This was not an issue with Costume Super Center at all! My package arrived fast and in perfect condition! Thanks to the easy size charts provided on the site my costume also fit perfectly so that I did not have to waste time sending it back.

I recieved the 80s Punk Lady costume for an 80s party my friends and I threw. It was too much fun to walk in looking like an authentic 80s punk!! My friends adored the costume and it was comfy enough to get me through the whole night without feeling suffocated or uncomfortable in any way. I will definitely be using Costume Super Center again as my friends and I throw many themed parties throughout the year. And now that I have found a way to purchase costumes easy and hassle free I can not wait until Halloween! I will be using the Costume Super Center for all of my family’s costumes.

NICE, right??? DH loves this shade of blue and has quite a few shirts in the shade so I knew the Black/Shok Blue was the right color combo for him. They are soft and lightweight with hand sewn moccasin construction. DH particularly noticed how cushiony the insole is and that the collar is nicely padded. The sole is rubber, making it comfortable & durable! The Striker Sneaker comes in a variety of other colors & fashions, but we LOVE the Black/ Shok Blue combo! He loves that they are comfy like sneakers but look nice enough to wear with a variety of outfits. He has worn them with jeans and shorts and both look great!

But the Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake? YUM YUM!!! That one was the big winner for me and my taste buds! Because there is no raw egg in the batter I was able to lick the batter bowl while the cake was baking and I knew I was in for an awesome treat. I had a hard time waiting for the cake to cool to be able to enjoy it!! This is a seriously delicious sweet treat option that left me satisfied and feeling no splurge guilt at all! Love that!

Here are a few other things I like about Sans Sucre:

Each package as prepared makes 7-8 servings. I LOVE that because it’s perfect to treat my family of six to one serving apiece and have a couple pieces left over for ME over the next day or two. I love not having half a cake pan full of fattening, sugary brownies tempting me to devour them! The smaller size mix packages makes for quick satisfying sweet treats without being overloaded with extra unneeded treats.
To prepare the mixes you simply add water and a couple tablespoons of oil! No eggs, no milk, nothing fancy. Easy peasy. And to keep them fat-free, I substitute applesauce for the oil and it works perfectly. Quick prep, quick bake time.

Keep reading for a full review of Cathe Freidrich’s AfterBurn , from her new Low Impact Series. Low Impact Series: AfterBurn Review
Cathe Friedrich, 2011 ***** (5 of 5 stars)

This is an awesome 54 minute dvd that offers plenty of premixes & is chaptered very well. Cathe works out with 4 exercisers in a nice open set. You will need dumbbells and gliding discs for this workout. Cathe takes you through a cardio & a strength exercise which you repeat & move on to a new combo.

After a w/u exercises include: cardio squats, squats w/ clean & press, glider climbers, lunge floor touch, low impact skaters, swings, disc burpees w/a pushup, runner sprints, dip & bi curl, plank w/ a leg thread, disc jacks (neat!), spiderman climbers, side lunge & over head press, plank drags, dip & lat raise, etc. & concludes with a c/d & stretch.

I rate this is a low advanced workout- it is simple choreo but nonstop heartpumping cardio and strength work. LOVE the unique exercises & the addition of the discs. Love the functional feel, low impact, and that my core was really worked! I really love the low impact but high intensity & simple but not boring choreo- this is definitely a unique, fun but tough w/o. I look forward to more from this series! I received this video to review.

I was sent a Mocha Tee Shirt Extender to review for this giveaway… and I am pretty sure that I have worn it twice a week since I’ve gotten it! Pretty much just a quick as I can get in in and out of the wash! {please excuse the no-make-up-face … this was first thing in the AM}

First Impressions:
I am not really sure what I was expecting, but at first it was kind of odd to just have half a shirt… I had to explain to my fiance that it is kind of like a reverse dickey… which is actually kind of humorous… The Tee Shirt Extender that I got was amazingly soft and the top band was not overbearing, I actually could barely tell I was wearing it! Since I am trying to lose weight these days I have noticed my pants are getting looser – which means they like to slide down my hiney when I am not paying attention… which creates less than ideal situations for me…. I love that the Tee-Shirt Extender helps keep me covered! With regular shirts I have to worry about bending over or reaching above my head and exposing myself! Not with the Tee-Shirt Extender!

Style:
The Extender I got was the ‘Mocha’ color… which for me, would not have been my first choice – only because I wanted to wear it so often that a black one would have gone with more of my clothes… I think layering it totally *in* right now, so the Extender is a really nice way to keep covered and still be stylish!

Sizing:
I think that they might be a little on the big side, or intentionally loose… I am a size 14 right now, so that would be a M/L by their sizing charts, but I felt like mine could have been a size smaller and still would have fit nicely… They go up to a L/XL for sizes up to 24+ which is awesome!

Cost:

I was sent a pair of Lucy Hatha Power Pants to review for this giveaway… and let me tell you I was amazed! I am very picky about the workout wear that I get for myself since I like many women am a little obsessive about my perceived flaws… Pants especially are tough for me! So I was a little skeptical when I first opened my package from Lucy Activewear. First Impressions:
The pants were obviously made out of a high quality fabric, with impressive stitching… no worries about splitting them at the seams mid-warrior-pose… haha. I also liked that the material was soft since I have sensitive skin, a lot of fabrics tend to irritate my skin.

Style:
The pants I received were solid black… I wore them to a yoga class at my local fitness center and still felt comfortable enough in them to run to the grocery store afterwards. I love not feeling like I am hiding under baggy sweats or raggy cut-off shorts anymore.

Sizing:
I think that these pants run true to the size charts Lucy has on their site. A major plus in my book is that this pair of pants comes in THREE different heights! I know tall ladies like my Mama and shorties like myself appreciate the ability to customize!

Have you ever noticed how hard it is to get your towels clean & smelling fresh- espeically after they have not completely dried or an odor has penetrated them? Well I have!
